Now, the EcoPebble Powerbank is one of the most portable in the ECOXGEAR lineup. It’s sort of a Swiss Army knife for road-tripping gadget lovers.

The Traveler’s Take
Like all of ECOXGEAR’s products, there’s a lot to like about the new EcoPebble. First is the durability. The housing is designed to be, not just water-resistant, but waterproof. And impact-resistant to boot. So it’ll take just about any environmental conditions you can throw at it.
Second, and equally as important, is the 10,400mAh backup battery. I pack a sh*t ton of gear when I travel (what with, ya know, being a travel blogger and all …). So I carry a spare 10,000mAh backup with me no matter where I’m going. Sometimes more. The dual ports on the EcoPebble allow for simultaneously charging two USB devices at once while also listening to music.
Which brings me to … the Bluetooth speaker. Which is actually secondary for me, but will likely be the main selling point for many. The unit features a single, 2″ driver with a solid output. You’re not going to be hosting any block parties with this thing, but it’s certainly an upgrade from your smartphone’s tinny audio output. The integrated 200-lumen flashlight is a nice touch as well. For midnight bathroom runs at the campground, the unit is compact enough to just grab and go.
At 1.4 pounds, it’s a bit chunky for ultra-minimalist travelers. But, for road-trippers and anyone who wants a great-sounding external speaker that’s substantially better than their smartphone’s, it’s a damn near ideal solution.
